Is this normal?

Asked by Jan 15, 2017 at 01:00 AM about the 2006 Hyundai Sonata

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just got a used 2006 hyundai sonata, the
V6. 123K MI.

It has electronic locks, and a fob with the
key.

My issue is that when I hit the unlock button,
the hazards flash, as to be expected.
However, when I hit the lock button on the
fob, I get no lights on the car, and no horn.

Is this normal? Or is there a way to fix/add
this?

I have checked fuses, and I found no issues
with possibly related fuses.

Check the owners manual, there should be a way by accessing the main menu, then just yes or no on each selection.
