1993 honda civic,hood wont lock.

Hi elmer, You could tie it down just to get a short distance at very minimal speed. Beyond that I would fix the locking mechanism or your hood could fly up and smash your windshield. Or worse it could damage someone elses car/truck and then you'll have to deal with an insurance claim. Good luck!

replace the latch , its a 15 to 25 doller part at a junk yard depending on witch one you go to.

Replace the latch or install hood pins.

have you tried adjusting the hood latch?

hood latch came open on my 2008 honda civic si while on the freeway, has any one had this problem?
