Engine swap

Need to know if I can put an 6,2 L raptor my

needing to replace motor in my 2013 ford focus st. It's got 2.0L turbo ecoboost. will any motor 2.0L ecoboost work say from an escape,transit,etc,whether turbo or non turbo if swap manifolds and anything else from current motor? what is the importance of the 8th digit in VIN if using ecu in car already?

Had a 74 Courier, and gave up marrying a Chevy small block 283 to it. Instead, i bored it out 0.030 over, dropped in a Competition Cams high performance cam, replaced intake with an Offenhauser split barrel intake manifold, Holley 2 barrel carburator, exhaust started with a header and split pipes starting at collection box. Had to jack up the back for the slick 50s rear wheels. Few other small upgrades: better plugs, wires, and distributor, etc. and cosmetic changes, but trans and rear end were stock. Very few 4 cylinder cars at the time could keep up with it; it would even take the Datsun 280Z in the quarter (we were small town but had a rarely used, straight feeder road marked off). It would still get a 2nd gear scratch on the upgraded 4-cyl engine. Anyway, my advice would be to upgrade the stock 1.8 or try the later model 2.3 engine before the headache of redesigning the front end, drive train mounts and rear end.
