The old Ford courier/Madza B series was only designed to use the 4 cylinder gas or the Mazda diesel motors, so everything you want to do is going to be customized, there is no direct drop in that will work. Now I have seen small block V8's in these little trucks but the guy have told me that it is a customized nightmare getting everything right, so even going V6 will present its own problems. It's just not worth the hassle unless your just looking for a project to tinker with. Good luck.
