I have a 1996 Honda Accord. My headlights stopped working shortly after we replaced alternator. Bulbs and fuses are good but there is no power to fuses. Also noticed that steering column cover has become loose. HELP?
Could be that the Multi-Function Stalk Switch on the column has a connector that has come loose or unplugged, or the switch could have just burned out as they sometimes do. It could also be a worn ignition switch if there is no power at all to the fuses, but start by tracing all the electrical connections and wires from the alternator to the main power supply under the hood, and also check for breakers, relays or fusible links in the same place, that could have burned out.
