When will Alfa Romeo bring the MiTo to the U.S.?

As I've heard Alfa will be back in 2010. 8C "halo" cars are on the way to select Ferrari/Maserati dealers now. The MiTo is currently only built to European crashworthiness spec (Euro NCAP). No plans yet for U.S. intro but it would be a great competitor for the MINI and other small cars in the "premium small car" segment. Actually the Abarth 500 would also be a great Italian competitor for the MINI as well... Well, here's to hoping that the latest batch of "affordable" Italians make their way to the USA!
