What's wrong with my Honda

Asked by AlyssaWelter Apr 24, 2016 at 10:55 PM about the 1997 Honda Accord

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car keeps over heating it keeps running out of
coolant but the over flow stays full and it i keep
having to add oil to it. I started it up and white
smoke came out of the exhaust and there seems
to be water or something coming out of the
exhaust now. Keep in mind ijust bought this car.

Sorry to say but I think u may have blown a head gasket. Look at oil dipstick, is it milky colored. If so the barrier between oil and coolant by the gasket has been blown. Unless u know cars a mechanic needs to replace it. Get a few estimates if u can and that u know or trust him!
