Question type: Maintenance & Repair

98 honda accord, was running fine and went to park it one day and the clutch
slammed down to the floor, then it wouldnt start without putting it into a gear
and even then the clutch wasnt working. its not grabbing to switch gears. just
wondering if cluthes go out like that? or if i should be looking for an issue

Most likely has a bad Clutch Master Cylinder or Clutch Slave Cylinder leaking fluid. Check the small clutch fluid reservoir beside the Main Brake master cylinder and see if its out of fluid... Might even need BOTH pieces replaced and then re-bleed the clutch system.

I put sleeves celinder and the master celinder keep doing the same thing
