A 2007 model opel corsa 1.4

I removed the old  1.4 motor  and fitted a 1.6 motor
but the car still pulls like the 1.4 can it be due to
the 1.4 computer box as soon as you start picking
up spending it starts to ping I have checked the
timing marks everything is on its place .I  need
advice how to solve this problem please.
