Honda Civic 1999

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

PLEASE HELP! My car has been stalling out when I
drive and sometimes won't even start. When it is
running it runs great! I have changed out the fuel
pump, fuel filter, distributor cap, spark plugs and
wires.  I am still having a problem with the car not
turning over. It's getting worse.

May have a bad battery, should get the battery checked, or possible problem with the starter, or battery cables.

If you can check to see which your loosing spark or fuel then it would help to narrow down the issue. I have had 3 Honda Civics CRX's, the only stalling issues I had that was ever complicated by not starting back up until later on it was either the pick up ignition module mounted and replaceable in the distributor or it was one of the five sensors in the distributor that are not replaceable unless the whole distributor is replaced.
