yeah most japanese cars make good bush cars. heck my 91 mazda 323 take alot of abuse on logging roads.and its driven hard . but if you do keep up on ur regular service items . and ya may want to add some under car protection. skid plates..

You're extremely wise and informed person!,You know what you wants!,Honda,Toyota, and may be now Nissan cars, are about to be enjoying a new fraternity 'brother' Hyundai as quality and reliable motor cars.please bear in mind that since such motor cars often are assembled outside Japan, let's hope that the strict quality mfg. controls been applied and followed there as well. It's noteworthy to mention, that such mfrs. historically had to improve drastically,in order to reach the level of such high quality, their efforts paid very well.expect to such trend in the P.R. of China ,mfrs. such as Shanghai,Beijing, and BYD are worth watching.
