I had this problem to. I found that the blend door was stuck in the defrost postion . really stuck. when i took apart the hearter control I found that the cable that moves the blend door was bent from trying to make it work,.I unbent the cable but it still wouldnt work. I had to remove some pieces to get to the blend door and pry it loose physically from the box. it was sticky. I cleaned it a little sprayed some silicone on it and its worked ever since.
