check engine light?

Asked by cowboy37 May 03, 2009 at 10:00 PM about the 2000 Honda Odyssey

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a 2000 odyssey. The check engine light came on. I had the code read and it came out that it detected an emission control system leak(fuel tank system), Said the probable causes are loose fuel cap checked that it's good. The others were vapor canister saturated, failed vent solenoid, or failed purge solenoid? Is there a common problem with these? which would be a good place to start? thanks
