I have a 2000 civic 2 dr hatch which is getting wet in the driver side and the boot.

Asked by Swift1940 Jan 10, 2012 at 03:00 AM about the 2000 Honda Civic

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can't find where it is getting in and have taped over every entry point I can think
of.

The water in the boot collects in the spare wheel well. Inside the car the divers side
carpets are wet but only on the base i.e. the water seems to under the carpet and
not running down anywhere.

just to let you know, if it is the heater core, it is approx. 6 hour labour job to replace. just looked up the labour time on mine the other day

before you have the heater core replaced, have your mechanic clean out the drain tube the water drips out of,is possable it is stoped up.
