Why would the outside air temperature display in my car read way higher than actual outside air temperature

The car displays a much higher than ambient outside air temperature, the electric fan
runs continuous if the ignition is on and the hvac system is acting weird. What could
cause these symptoms?

your engine is over heating you best get your rad hose replaced before it bursts. the 4 way hose tends to burst when this starts happening have your rad system flushed and cleaned out tobe sure there is no clogs and chenge your water pump and therma stat if they are not functioning correctly
