What causes my car to stop?

I have a 2009 Hyundai Accent that I just put a new
fuel pump in. My car would run for about 15
minutes and just shut off while driving and I'll have
to wait awhile on the side of the road for some
time before it'll start again. I would like to know
what causes that if possible.

fuel pump relay might have bad connection easy fix pull relay bend pins a little and put back in, the relay gets hot well driving and makes bad connection to fuel pump relay had same problem relay is in fuse box under engine hood.
