why does my 2009 cobalt hiccup when im driving

My car will hiccup when im driving it. Its like a jerking hesation. Like the motor isnt getting fuel for a split second. Then it drives fine for a bit then does it again.

I am sure you already had this checked by now but check the oil. Mine did the same thing. I checked my oil...it was bone dry! My cluster is bad so i had no indication it needed changed. Never trust a computer. Now it no longer hiccups while i am driving.
