Or you can turn the key to the on position without starting the engine and press the gas pedal to the floor three times and on the third time hold it to the floor. The oil light will reset, its probably the easiest way to reset the oil light on GM vehicles.

Pressing the gas pedal down 3 times and holding it is sooooooo much easier :) Thanks guys. I almost thought it would work but you have to wait about three secs to see 100%.
When I held the pedal down after the third time, nothing changed. I called my mechanic and he told me to stomp it to the floor three times, within five seconds, but don't hold it down after the third time. Then watch till the "oil life" light goes out. That means it has reset to 100%. Start the engine and it's reset.
