Air conditioning for 2004 Honda civic

Looking for three years I have had this car when I
first got it the air conditioning unit was blowing out
a little bit of cold air and then it just start blowing
out hot air I've had it checked for 3 years straight
and nobody can give me a straight answer now I'm
getting it could be the compressor or could be
electrical I have a medical condition into which I
need the air conditioning and cannot afford it what
can I do

Pay $85-100 and have it evacuated, checked for leaks 30mm of vacuum ...and filled with the correct oil PAG,# and amount. Then filled to the correct weight ONLY proper way, of refrigerant 134A. That's what I suggest.. Find a competent shop I know it can be hard to locate one! call around ask friends etc..Regards
