Intermittent grinding sound coming from front passenger wheel area

Asked by Kirkwoodcars Jan 26, 2020 at 04:43 PM about the 2005 Honda Civic

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a weird grinding/screech sound coming
from my front passenger wheel area. It’s not
consistent as it comes and goes. When I
wiggle the steering wheel it goes with the
wiggle, besides that it comes and goes at any
speed. Sometimes when I hit the brake it does
away, sometimes it doesn’t. Could this be a
wheel bearing or something caught in the
wheel? The car was sitting for 6 weeks in
rainy Vancouver..
