Popping noise....help!

Asked by MalcolmDoanAutos Aug 25, 2010 at 05:38 PM about the 2006 Honda Ridgeline

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2006 Honda Ridgeline drives great....but it occasionally makes this funny popping noise and sounds like i've just run over something. I'm not sure what it is, and i've taken it to a tire shop and had a general inspection, but no one seems to be able to identify the problem...anyone got any ideas on what could be causing this?

Yes my 2007 Ridgeline will occasionally do the same thing, I had it checked out once and found nothing. The second time I found out that it is actually the roof flexing. Do you live in the northeast or cold weather?
