I HAVE A 1999 FORD FOCUS, WENT TO FILL IT UP THIS MORNING BUT SUDDENLY CANNOT UNLOCK THE FLAP, IT SEEMS TO BE STUCK,

This has a pin which holds it closed when the central doorlocking locks the car. You should press on it and then click unlock on the remote control. Also you should have a back-up wire inside the trunk (sometimes it could be behind the carpet or some plastic cover).
