how do u fix a speedometer that has spun right around and it now stuck on the other side of the peto where the 200km is on a 2003 chrysler intrepid

Hi your 2003 intrepid speedo is and electric controlled...I have seen this before were we have removed them and actually tipped them over so the needle goes back to zero and then plugged them back in and they have worked ..basically they go through a self test on key on and run all the needles to the full side of the gauges and for some reason the get stuck ...It sounds stupid but it might be as simple as this or to replace the cluster... being that none of the gauges are sold separately...hope this helped MoparJohn
