can i drop a 4.6, or a 5.0 in a 98 ranger (3.0 coded) most of all will the wiring hook up. would i need a new tranny

you can do it but be ready for a lot of work,wireing,front suspenion up grades,trans swap,yes,crossmember work driveshaft will probley have to be special built,be sure you get computer and wireing harness from doner vehicle.$$$$$$$$$ good luck also buy a BIG bottle of TYLENOL
