My starter has went out and the sticker that tells
what the motor is is faded how can I tell if it a 2.5
or a 2.8

The 2.5L is a four cylinder. The 2.8L is a v6-- 6 cylinders. I also saw a 4.3L engine listed for your vehicle, that is also a v6. I agree with Gary, if the engine is original, the vin should tell you.

It says 2.8 but a buddy of mine that works on deisle engine says it's a 4 cylinder and I just want to make sure I'm getting right part
