Headlights Won't Work

Asked by Grayson Nov 12, 2017 at 11:14 PM about the 1993 GMC Sierra 2500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The headlights in my GMC Sierrra 2500 stopped
working for some reason. I just had the alternator
replaced, and when I got in to drive it that night, the
headlights wouldn't turn on. However, the dash
lights, marker lights, brake lights, reverse lights,
and turn signals all still work. It seems weird that
all four bulbs would go out at once, so I haven't
tried new bulbs yet. Anything it may be if not the
bulbs? And if it is the bulbs, what may have caused
all four to go out at the same time?

Do you have your light switch set to auto or do you turn them on yourself... If the rest of your lights are working I would start by changing out ur headlight bulbs and see what happens

If you've checked your bulbs and they still won't come on, check your fuses, and your headlight relays.
