95 GMC No spark

Asked by Aug 07, 2019 at 01:00 PM about the 1995 GMC Sierra 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced my belt on my 1995 GMC Sierra 5.7
Vortec and was a complete fool and left the red
power cable that goes to the under hood fuse box
hanging in the way of the fan. So it bearly got
caught in the fan and the truck shut off right away.
Now I can't get the truck to run. No spark on all
plugs and coil. I have replaced ICM, wires, plugs,
cap, rotor, checked all the fuses and checked for
power at the ignition switch and going into the coil.
The thing is I'm not seeing any power coming from
the ICM 4 wire connector and now my idal air
control connection is bearly getting power.

Im going to replace the pick up coil now . But has
anyone come across this. Can someone please
