When was the last time you did a tuneup and filter change?

Someone disconnect or dirty up the MAF sensor? Classic idle-only situation.

Maybe consider take to a good mechanic if haven't found anything wrong with it then just try it again and give it time and if not I suggest selling and get some good money for the Subaru brumby and then someone else can deal with its problems and you could maybe go and look for a good second hand Subaru brumby that works better then this one.
