97 jimmy no electrical power

I have a 97 jimmy that the alternator went
bad on so it got replaced. Now it has no
elictrical power what so ever the key wont
even come out of the ignition. Could this be
a problem with my starter? It got tested and
it still clicks over but it failed on something
just cant remember. Should i try to replace
it?
