Radiator size

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Does an 86 lincoln town car need a 4 core radiator.
A friend has one and her man put a thin radiator in
it and the whole engine compartment is too hot to
touch tho needle not showing overheat.

A bigger radiator would not necessarily make the engine compartment any cooler. If the car is not overheating there is little you can do.
