i dont know shit about my 85 lincoln towns car

so i bought my first car a few days and it didnt come with a owners manual
and my brake light and turn signals are not working. the other problem is that
it will kill itself while driving it and it looses alll power. i have not a clue what
any of the parts are besides the battery and egine. i also know its a v8
