Stuck in park

What should I do my car is stuck in park. The stuck
will move back and forth, but it seems loose and is
not taking the car out of park. How should I fix this?

There would be a problem with the shifter, either there is a cable on it and it broke, or something happen to the shift linkage.

Linkeage bushing, it's plastic. These tend to break on our platform, Dorman makes a replacement.

2002 GMC Evnoy is stuck in park, the ignition switch is stuck in the ACC position. Any ideas?

Sounds like your problem is in your steering column. In the switch linkage. Also check to see if the steering wheel lock is not jammed.
