Car didnt start one day n i had a mechanic came n check n
said my fuelpump went out. GMC Yukon 2003 4.8
He hit the bottom gas tank n started. It only starts when i
hit the gas tank. Is it my fuel pump? It stalled a few times
but got out n knocked on gas tank n starts right up

Yes, that's a classic sign of a dying fuel pump. I agree with your mechanic! HTH. -Jim
