I have a 2003 gmc safari van. The rear door handle is broken I can't open it to replace or fix it. What do I do?

Can it be opened from the inside? Can you take off an inside panel and trip the latch?

Same thing happened to me. Take a big screwdriver and peel back the inside door panel. Once you can get at the linkages for the lock, you should be able to get the door open.
