The rear door handle is broken. I can't open the door to fix or replace the handle. Does anybody have an answer?

I was able to use a thin but strong sawall blade to fit though the small opening under and though the back of the the broken handle to trigger the tab to open door. After a few try's I was in.

I took the rear door panel off and rigged it up with a coat hanger also took off the outside door handle to run the coat hanger thru been that way for 6 years still works great
