v-belt replace

Asked by Jan 05, 2016 at 11:36 AM about the 1987 Subaru Leone

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Anybody know the correct #'s for the 2  v-belts on an "87 Subaru DL Wagon
with A/C,P/S?
Also, how do you adjust the tension on the belt w/the adjuster?
Any special tools req?

Check with any parts supplier. No special tools required. Given the propensity of 85-90 DL/GL/Loyale to snap left side t-belt suggests you at least take a peak at that one at the same time. It's a notoriously weak design.
