Usually might even be interchangeable with early 2000s model
This, of course, is if the engines are the same. A starter for a 6 cylinder may not have the power to spin a V8 engine. Also, the mounting may be different.
If you really want to know look up the part on a car parts website and note which models, years and engines it is listed for.
