I have a 2004 Envoy. When shifting from reverse to drive, there is a 2-3 second hesitation until it engages. Fluid level is fine. Any suggestions?

Chances are high that the solenoids are getting crudded up, you can try a service and add a quart of TransX to it but eventually you will have to replace the solenoids.
Also with that, service would be the trany fluid & filter changed with the Trans X added with new fluid.
isn't that what I just stated?
Yes, credit would go to you, just clarifying for them. I see I didn't use good terminology, Sorry...
