If you smell antifreeze, you have a small leak. Heater core or the valve is leaking. The small amount will fall into the drip pan and if it is enough, it will exit on the ground like the condensation from air conditioner.

You almost certainly have a head gasket leak. Address this immediately or risk engine failure. The fact that you are getting a must of antifreeze on your windows indicates this.

@ Hans. If it's a head gasket, they would have milky engine oil. @ s1957nicholas. Do you or did you have milky engine oil? Did you find out fix the problem?

I'm sure you have fixed this by now, but so others might have a problem later. There is a test tool called "Stant" Pressure checker. This tool fits your radiator cap & allows you to pressurize your radiator by pumping it up with air. Pump up to the correct pressure (5 to 8 psi) on the gauge. Let stand for 5 minutes, if the pressure remains, your system is good, if you have a pressure drop, then there is a leak somewhere in the system. Could be radiator, heater core, water pump seal or head gasket. Some parts houses has the tool & will loan it or rent it to you.
