1989 Chevy Celebrity 2.8MFI wagon transmission problems

my celebrity wagons transmission only has 1,2 , and reverse gears working. drive and
overdrive don't work. Whats the easy fix

Is the fluid full ? Does it only happen when warm ? If it just started happening within the last few days and only happens when warm, the transmission is going or gone.
