Should I Replace or rebuild

I own a Nissan AD 2007 Model and the car has been
Smoking and burning oil so much. My mechanic advises
that I replace the engine, but me I am of the option of
rebuilding the engine. What advise would you give me

Rebuilding an engine can take longer and cost more than swapping it with a remanufactured engine, or swapping in a good donor motor.

A top quality rebuild will probably last longer than a crate engine but you will have to decide if the extra cost is worth it.
