guess i'll take it back to dealer that got me the new switch because of the recall and let them know it is faulty as well...if there is no fuse or relays to check..

I had the same thing happen to my 1998 olds Aurora, after 3 master switches and they would work for 1 to 2 days then quit. I found broken wires in the hinge area of the drivers door. Fixed them and that has been 15 yrs ago and they still are working.

Did the dealer replace it under the recall? Wonder if they forgot to program it. New master switches need to be programmed, used switches do not.

yes they programmed it...... thanks all, found out it was intermittent power, took panel apart cleaned all connectors and circuit boards then started tracing wiring and the plug in my door jam is going bad or just really dirty.. going to try to spray it with a can of contact cleaner and make sure none of my wires are bare in the seam itself..
