1992 eurovan 110v GFI and toggle switch jammed

Asked by GuruMLWV1 May 19, 2020 at 03:48 PM about the 1992 Volkswagen EuroVan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello,
While visiting family my son plugged my extension cord from my van into I believe another extension cord.  Now my electrical 110v compartment has a frozen toggle switch and GFI.  It won't budge and when the power cord is plugged in to power no indicator that it is plugged in appears on the display. Can these be fixed?

Plugging into another extension cord did not cause the jamming of gfi. There is another problem for which i would need more info. to help. Mail me at enrik@shaw.ca

GFI plugs go bad. You probably need to replace it.
