my car is not picking up speed when going up hill

my car starts to slow down when going up hill what could it be?

Check for leaks in the air pipe after the sensor. This allows air into the mix which has not been registered by the sensor, thus making the fuel/air mix weak. Same symptoms as a blocked/dirty fuel filter.
