Ford bantam 2008 1600cc
I have a Ford bantam 1600 and it does not want to
start in the mornings, the only way I get it to start is
by pussing it,but if it first started it starts every
time please give me advise ?
so it's a manual tranny ? You'll have to test for proper fuel pressure and spark when the problem occurs , intermittent problems are the worst .
We have had a few of these like this. Check the Amp draw on thee main starter cable from thee battery to the starter. If the Amperage is too high it drains the current to the PCM/ECU and it wont start when cranking when cold. Check also the starter solenoid cable to the solenoid switch runs in thee same channel as the Crank Position sensor. Separate the two, as when the engine is cranked, the solenoid current induces the current to the CKP sensor wiring which are twisted pairs and interferes with the current going from the Crank sensor to the PCM
