Why the name Rocam engine

Hi, I have a 1.3i Rocam engine, which is written on the tappet cover of the engine, i noticed that the tappet cover is also plastic? Could anyone please elaborate on this?

the rocam engine is a new engine ford came out with in 06,just about every cover is plastic on newer cars,the rocam engine design is a spinoff of the rocam motorcycle engine,good motors.

The ROCAM name because of the Roller Rockers on the cam shaft operation the hydraulic lifters
