Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car fan, a/c, electric windows, indicators,
speedometer, rev counter, fuel gauge and temporary
gauge not working. They were intermittent yesterday
but today they just don't work at all so I suspect a
loose connection somewhere. Can any help me
narrow down the location of the problem. Lights,
hazards 12v plug and dash lights still work.

Check the fuses and relays . Relays are located on top of the fuse block call the central junction box.

As you push the relay in to the terminals, Check the terminals dont pull through the bottom. The small brown relays, swop them arround a bit. Check that the harness for open circuit. It's best if you get an Auto Electrician to thech this

I have the 2001 Fiesta. That exact combination of errors happened to me. I removed the fuse box and it was a loose relay on the fuse box. (The big black one.)

Yes, we have seen a few of these. We also had a case of the Speed sensor wiring.
