I washed the engine of my ford bantam rocam now it wont start, it gives boom sounds in the air filter box

You didn't try washing the inside of the engine did you? Good. Now dry everything that give wet. Once you do that it will start.

Check that water has not gained entry into the passenger compartment via the wiring harness plug on the left rear of the engine compartment

Same Thing have been occurred to my car ' i once took it to Car wash ; when i try to start the engine " it didnt start i put it ; on the sun for approximatley to 30 Minutes to 1 Hour ' after that it start
