my alarm is not responding i can stl start my car and drive but the cetral lock and the alarm doesnt activate when i press the remote it only gives a clicking sound inside the car

Yes, the car can still be driven. The central locking control unit is not on the same electronics system as the vehicle immobilizer system.. The central locking system unit is mounted under the dash. It seams like this unit might have to be replaced. Check the condition or replace the button battery in the remote on the ignition key. If the central locking unit has to be replaced, the remote buttons will have to be recoded. To perform this function, Turn the ignition key in the ignition on and off 4 to 5 times, the system will be in program mode. Hold and press the one button in until the door lock operates. The remote door lock will be programmed.
