Ford Bantam won't start when hot
Hie guys, i have a ford bantam 1.6i 1996 model
only starts when cold but once i drive it around
when i try to restart it cranks over.I have noticed
the fuel pump located in the tank only pumps fuel
when cranking not with the ignition key on the on
position. What could it be?
Check the relays and the fuses for a start. It could also be the reed switch which is located in the vain type air flow meter that these engines have. Start off by clearing the fault codes in the Computor Box. To perform this action. Ignition on Acc or off, Remove the ROOM light fuse and apply the brake pedle for 20 seconds and refit the fuse. This clears any fault codes. Start the engine and see if the problem is still there. As I said check all the fuses and relays.
