To replace the handbrake cable on these bakkies, The cable is in two sections. The lever section is to the left of the steering column. Release the adjusting nut under the vehicle. To the left of the steering column the lever is secured with two bolts under the dash and I think a nut in the firewall in the engine compartment. Once these are removed the hand brake lever sould come out quite easily. As far as I can remember, the rear hand brake cable between left and right rear brakes is all in one piece. The rear brake drums would have to be removed to remove the cable.
